[Kurumi's face isn't much expressive either, looking melancholic while she waits for Jill. When she hears the familiar voice calling out to her, she turns her head towards Jill and forces a smile on her, nodding in greeting.]
I'm ready to get going. Lead the way.
[Of course, she brought her shovel along with her, which is strapped to her back. Even if there's no present danger, she feels a bit naked without it. While the two walks down the street, Kurumi will make some idle chatter, a chance to know her friend better.]
You said you worked late shift back home. What was your work about, if you don't mind me asking?
[Jill has a bunch of questions over what she saw back during the memory. However, those weren't her memories, and from the looks of it all, they seemed pretty traumatic and rough.
Did she want to know more? Course she did. But the questions weren't really hers to ask.
If Kurimi wanted to share, then she would.
... The shovel on the other hand.]
I was a bartender.
It wasn't really what I was planning on, but I was fresh out of college and it just sort of... happened.
[Kurumi tends to hide her trauma, push on through with a smile, so the people around her wouldn't be upset. That said, Jill had seen what happened, she knows the other might want to know more what was all that memory about. ... In a way, she feels like Jill should know. It's only a matter of when to bring it up.]
A bartender, huh... That sounds like it would be a cool part time job, though. What's it like?
Interesting! Sounds like bartending is a fun job. I could probably get into that kind of job, and it's a great way to meet new people and getting to know them.

Thought maybe we could hang out a bit, too.

but sure, we can hang out. where to?
text;
There aren't many places that are still open to us by the time we're awake, after all.
And it's not as messy as the the alternative.
text;

text;
Anyways, where do you live? I can stop by and we can hit up one of the places I know.

[A couple of moments later and Jill arrives.]
Hey.
You ready to get going?
[Jill may not be the most expressive, but she's happy to be doing this.]

Boss always found ways to keep us on our toes, and I really did like talking to my clients to learn about their day.
No two days were ever the same, you know?

I could show the ropes, even.
